What A Week!

This has been a crazy busy week that started last Friday. Jacob's birthday was this past weekend so we had to get the house all clean and ready for the party on Saturday. Well, I had a snag in my plans when Jarred got sick Thursday with a stomach virus. The house did not get cleaned when we had originally planned but it got cleaned nonetheless.

Satruday morning I had a ton of running around to do and finally made it back home with thirty minutes to spare before the Thomas party began. Jacob had a wonderful time and got every kind of Lightening McQueen I think there is! He got a little upset when we sang "Happy Birthday" to him, but was fine once he got his hands on that cupcake.

Sunday we went to church and then cooked out at my parent's house. Jacob got to swim in his new pool and stayed in there until we had to drag him out. Monday was a lazy day, seeing as it rained here almost non-stop all weekend long. I am so glad we are finally getting some sunshine.

It has been a rough week with having all the morning/all day sickness but I have made it through. Tuesday we had Jacob's two-year check up that went great and then Wednesday we went to the Comedy Club for my birthday. We had a great time and the comedians were pretty funny. Last night, my baby sister graduated from high school. I can not believe she is about to start college. I am so proud of her and all she has accomplished thus far. I love you Haley!

I am hoping to finally get a break after tomorrow and have a lazy few weeks before we finally go to the beach. I hope you all have a great weekend!

He Is Not A Baby Anymore

So this past week Jarred and I moved Jacob to a "big boy" bed. He was so excited about this, seeing as how he HATED his crib. He would cry if we even talked about it. Needless to say he slept with us. That phase has finally ended and I am happy yet sad at the same time.

Jacob is such a big boy now, sleeping in his own big bed. After bath time he goes up to his room and watches Cars until he falls asleep and sleeps there all night. We have taken turns laying down with him but he is getting more used to it now.

This baby phase has gone way too fast, it is really hard to handle sometimes. Hopefully we will be hitting a few more milestones soon. Tomorrow is his Thomas birthday party and he is so excited for cake. I will of course post pictures of all the festivities next week. I hope everyone has a happy Memorial Day weekend!

Little Man's New Ride

Jacob's birthday is this weekend but we could not wait to give him is birthday present. A few weeks ago Jarred and I took him to pick out his new ride. Our parents went in with us so we could get him a "monster truck" as Jacob would call it. He was so excited and could not wait to get in it and ride. He helped Daddy put it together and got the hang of steering and pushing the gas very quickly. We now have to go home and ride the "monster truck" just about every night before dinner. We definitely got our money's worth!

That face says it all!

Blowing Bubbles

Jacob loves to blow bubbles, well try to anyway. He ends up putting the bubble wand in his mouth hoping that that will produce bubbles. Here are a few pictures of him in action with two different types of bubbles.

Hope you all have a Happy Tuesday!

It's Official

Jarred and I are excited and blessed to announce that we are going to add a new addition to our family in about 7 months. We found out a little over 2 1/2 weeks ago that we are going to have another baby. I thank God everyday for giving me the opportunity to be Jacob's mother and now the mother of this next little life. We went to the doctor last Thursday and everything went great. I am due December 27, so we may have a Christmas baby! I have not been feeling so hot these past couple of weeks but I will keep everyone posted on how this little miracle continues to grow.

Our 4th Anniversary

Yesterday was mine and Jarred's fourth wedding anniversary. I can not believe we have been married for four years. It feels like just yesterday we were walking down the isle. We did not plan much of a celebration, just going to dinner tonight and then birthday shopping for Jacob. When I got home from work yesterday I found this waiting for me on the kitchen table.

Simple just like I like it! I know the picture is dark but it is three roses (past, present, and future) and a card. Happy Anniversary Jarred. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and best friend. I love you with all my heart!
