Kelly over at Kelly's Korner has started the Show Us Your Life series back on her blog this fall and I thought I might actually participate this year in a few of them. This week is Master Bedrooms.
This past winter while I was on maternity leave I decided it was time for us to finally get a king size bed. I wrote about it here.
The furniture is dark chocolate so it looks almost black. The only thing that I do not like about it is that it shows dust pretty bad.
It was so hard to find something to fit in that little corner to hold our TV. It is an odd size so most chests and armories will not fit there.
This is looking in from the bathroom. We do not have a door going into the bathroom just an open frame. I also need to hang curtains, I just have not gotten there yet.
My favorite part of the whole room are the canvas prints I hung about my bed. The ones on the ends are the boys feet when they were newborns and the middle two are Jacob at 2 weeks and Colyn at 1 day old.
I still have a lot that I would like to do in my bedroom but so far I am pretty happy with it. Make sure you go see all the other bedrooms that are linked to Kelly’s blog. Happy Friday!
