Not Much Going On

We have stayed at home most of this week so I really do not have much to report.  We celebrated my mom’s birthday on Sunday but that is about it.  I have, however, taken several pictures this week .

                            I am super excited about this weekend, we have GNO tomorrow night and several of us girls are going to the spa for the day.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Geaux Saints!

 

A Little Jacob Time

This past Saturday, Jarred and I took Jacob to the circus with several of our friends.  We had really good seats and such a great time.  He loved seeing all the different acts they had (especially the motorcycles).  I am absolutely amazed at the talent of these people and animals.  Here are a few pictures from the show.

                                      Jacob enjoyed his day with just Mommy and Daddy but kept asking where Baby Colyn was.  We told him that Colyn wasn’t big enough to go so we were taking him.  He liked that he was the big boy for the day. 

One Month Old

I am a few days late on this but nonetheless. 

Little Man you are one month old now.  Here are a few things you are up to these days.

• At your  one month check up you were 10 lb. 2 oz. and 21 3/4 inches long. 
• You are a little piggy, you take 5 oz. of formula every 3-4 hours.
• You are such a good baby, you hardly ever cry.
• You are a great sleeper.  You take a lot of cat naps through the day.  It is very nice for Mommy, because I am able to get things done around the house.
• You get up once a night to eat, usually around 3:30.
• You have started smiling and it melts my heart.
• You really like your swing.
• You are holding your head up so good, you love to look around.
• Your brother loves you so much!  He tells everyone about you and wants to help me take care of you.

We are so blessed to have you in our lives and we can not wait to watch you grow more and more every day.  Here are a few pictures from the past week.

So It Has Been a While

I know I am a bad blogger, but I have been a little preoccupied.  Colyn has been such a blessing in our lives and we have enjoyed the past month getting adjusted to life with two children.  Christmas came and went, it was a wonderful time spent with friends and family.  Here are a few pictures to recap.

I made it to my due date and was induced on December 28th.  After 9 hours of labor and some very tough moments, Colyn came into this world.  He is such a great baby!  Jacob loves his baby brother so much, wanting to hold him and kiss him all the time.  Here are a few pictures from Colyn’s first few days of life.

Hopefully I will update more often now that life is starting to get back to normal.  I hope everyone has a great week!

We are so very blessed to have our precious new son in our lives.  Jacob is so excited and we can not wait to get him home.   Here are a few pictures of our new addition.

39 Weeks

Well, here I am hanging on at 39 weeks.  With Jacob I had been induced by now so this is the longest I have ever been pregnant and I am not going to lie, it is tough!  I am so ready for Baby Colyn to make his grand entrance into this world but with it being Christmas this week, he can hang on until at least Saturday, HA! 

I went to the doctor yesterday and I am making progress but as long as he stays snug I will be induced Monday morning at 5 AM.  So, in other words, I will more than likely make it to my due date.  Here is my last belly picture!  I am so over the whole maternity clothes thing I could scream.  I can not wait to wear somewhat normal clothes again.  And, since I am in two weddings and my 10 year high school reunion is this summer I have got to bust it in the gym! 

I hope everyone has enjoyed my growing belly but I know it will be so much more enjoyable to see pictures of a precious little baby.  I will get pictures up on here just as soon as I can after he makes his arrival.
