8 Months Old

Colyn-

You turned 8 months old on August 28th.  You are getting too big too fast!  I love  how now when I take your picture I can’t just prop you up in the corner of your crib anymore.  You will not be still to save your life!  This is about the best I could get this time because you were too busy standing up and moving all around.

• You weigh about 18 pounds and I’m not sure how long you are
• You eat like a little pig!  You love almost all baby food, we still have not really tried any solids because you have no teeth yet.
• You have tried apple juice out of a Sippy cup but you prefer your bottle hands down (I am afraid we are going to have a hard time getting rid of it).
• You did try Mommy’s ice cream the other night and you thought that was pretty yummy, LOL.
• You still wear size 3 diapers and can wear 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes (it all depends on what it is).
• You are non-stop these days; crawling, pulling up on everything and trying to cruise.
• You still babble and say da-da pretty clear.
• You love your toys but would much rather play with your brother’s and he does not like that very much, LOL.
• You love your brother so very much!  He makes you laugh all the time.
• You sleep all night in your crib (something your brother never did).

We love you so much and love watching you grow and do new things every day.
