Gotta check out that tractor!

Living life one blessing at a time.
Sunday we made our yearly trip to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a dreary day but we made it in and out before it really started raining. We had a great time with Lucy, but Jacob missed his Emma. Unfortunately they did not have such a great time and I wish it would have turned out better for them.
As soon as we got there, Jacob wanted to go see the tractors. He made sure to tell me that it was a John Deere. They had pedal tractors too, but his little legs were not long enough to push the pedals so he just sat on them. We ran around for a little while, looking at all the animals and taking pictures along the way. We finally made it down to the hayride to go to the actual patch to get our pumpkins.
The mosquitoes were horrible on the hayride but once we got out there it was better. They had a lot of great pumpkins and we got to pick three, one for each of us. Once we picked out our pumpkins we made our way back to the hayride to go back and it started drizzling. It was not too bad, but enough to annoy you. We made it to the car just in time because the bottom fell out shortly there after.
Have a Happy Tuesday!
UAB had a game last night and since Haley is a cheerleader, we decided to take Jacob so he could see her cheer. I have not been able to take him to a game because it rained the first two and there was no way I was dealing with that, LOL! He was so excited, he kept saying, "go see Haley cheer" and "go Blazers." It was too cute!
We had a tailgate with my parents and their friends before the game. Jacob had a great time! He was amazed by all the sights and sounds. We only stayed until halftime since it was getting late, but the Blazers pulled it out and beat Southern Mississippi for the first time in school history. Go Blazers! I am not sure if I have mentioned but UAB is my alma mater, so I was quite proud.
I hope y'all have a great weekend.
Here we are at week 27, nothing new to report. I know I am quite boring these days, HA! Here is my weekly belly picture.
Jacob has been sick this week, so Jarred and I have been taking turns staying home with him. He seems to be feeling much better. We are also enjoying the cooler weather. Here is a picture of Jacob just to make you smile.
I hope everyone has a great Thursday. We are headed to the UAB game tonight to cheer on the Blazers.
We had a pretty busy weekend yet again. Friday night was GNO at Ashley's house. We had a great time hanging out and eating pizza. We celebrated Melissa's birthday and I of course forgot to take a single picture. Saturday was rainy so we stayed in most of the morning and then headed to my parent's house for the Bama game. Here is little man cheering on the Tide.
Sunday was spent finishing Jacob's new room. I spent most of the morning switching and cleaning out the upstairs closets. I was so worn out from getting up and down out of the floor. Jarred and his buddy, Brett moved the dresser from my parent's house and I was able to finally get everything arranged the way I wanted it. Haley (my sister) finished the painting to hang above his bed so I was able to get that hung as well. So, without further ado, here is little man's new room. Please ignore the bare walls and the humidifier (he is fighting a nasty cough).
And here is the painting my sister did for Jacob, up close. She did an awesome job! I can not wait for her to do Colyn's painting for the nursery. If anyone is interested in having one made, she loves to paint and is very artistic.
Sorry for all the repetitive pictures, I am just in love with this painting! HA! I still need to hang pictures and the selves I bought on the walls and I really need to get him some valances. They make ones that match his quilt so I will eventually buy those. Haley is also going to do a couple of little pictures of trucks to hang on the wall as well. I am very please with the way the room color and everything else turned out. I hope y'all have a great Tuesday!
Here I am at 26 weeks, still counting down. I have nothing new to really report this week, just getting more tired as the days go by. Here is my weekly belly picture.
On another note, I went to Kids Market here in Birmingham last night. If you are in the Birmingham area I highly recommend going. I shopped for two hours and my patience paid off because I came home with a TON of clothes for both Jacob and Colyn and feel that I got a great deal. I am attaching pictures of all my great finds!
Jacob is in a wedding in January and I called my friend Lynn when I found this and she told me to GRAB it! It is a three piece tux in perfect condition for $10!
Colyn's new (to him) clothes.
These are three of my favorite outfits I got Colyn. The puppy on the pants in the middle is on the booty and the Christmas outfit I got because it was super cute and only $3, so if he is not here yet I have two other friends that could use it.
Kids Market has a Fall and Spring sale so I will definitely be going to the Spring sale as well. That is about all I have to report. We have GNO tonight and I am getting my hair cut. I will share pictures on Monday. I hope you all have a great weekend! TGIF
